machine may cause it to run hard, or to stick. Or if the machine has not been used for some time it may have acquired dirt or lint in the oil holes and bearings. Put a few drops of kerosene in each oiling place, run the machine for a few minutes, wipe carefully, then put one drop of oil in each oiling place. Your machine will run like new.
To change the tension, adjust only the upper tension. Do not change the tension on the lower thread. Refer to your instruction book.
Before removing goods, see that the take-up is at its highest point. This is very important, especially if your machine is of the round bobbin type.
Do not attempt to use the attachments until you have mastered plain sewing. Explicit instructions for the attachments are contained either in the back part of the sewing machine book or in a separate book which describes the attachments.
