If necessary, the wagon may be supplemented by serving trays or muffin stands. if the tea is served from a table, it should be arranged with doilies or runners, with a silver tea service at one end. and a chocolate service or punch bowl at the other end. Flowers in a silver vase or basketsilver candlesticks, silver bonbon dishes, and silver plates for cake and sandwiches make the prettiest table.

For informal affairs, it is permissible to telephone one's guests if they are intimate friends; to send one's card with the words
